Nike took the middle spike out of the original Maxfly and raised the platform on the big-toe side, so it feels more planted and stable on the straightaway. Up front, a full-length carbon Flyplate and a dual-chamber Air Zoom unit give you a snappy, propulsive push-off with every stride. It runs small, so we recommend going up a half size.
